Almost Monday is an alternative indie-rock-surf fusion band from San Diego, California. The four piece is comprised of teenage friends, Dawson Daugherty (vocals, bass, guitar), Luke Fabry (guitar, bass), Cole Clisby (guitar, bass), and Michael Leto (drums, synthesizer). They effortlessly blend eclectic influences including U2, Switchfoot, Snarky Puppy, and Two Door Cinema Club, with while carving out a unique Southern California sound all it’s own. These multi instrumentalists can be found exchanging guitars for bass, and drums for synthesizers on arrangements and live shows. The band’s current focus is writing and recording original material while building a stronger fan base. Almost Monday aims to entertain and inspire people through deep lyrics and high energy live performances.

Vito De Luca, aka Aeroplane, the Italian-Belgian producer, has established himself as a party-starting DJ, a remixer du jour, and a leader of the nu-disco and Balearica music scene. His distinctive “analog house” sound sets him apart from the rest. In the last year, Aeroplane has produced several popular HypeMachine-charting remixes, including Justin Timberlake’s “Suit and Tie,” Mystery Skulls’ “Paralyzed,” Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap,” Mayer Hawthorne’s “Wine Glass Woman,” and Stromae’s “Tous Les Memes.” Aeroplane’s debut album We Can’t Fly, an in depth trip into Balearics with a large dose of AOR and Moroder-influenced disco, was released on Eskimo Recordings, PIAS and Ultra in 2010. Well ahead of its time, the album is an obvious precursor to many of the releases of similar genre in 2013 and 2014. In 2012, Aeroplane was selected by Pete Tong as the 500th DJ to perform an “Essential Mix” which included his song “We Can’t Fly” and his now world famous remix of Friendly Fires “Paris.” As a result, Aeroplane was named one of NME’s 20 Most Groundbreaking Dance Acts in the World. Following the success of “We Can’t Fly” and the “Paris” remix, Aeroplane has released several collaborative EP’s, produced countless successful remixes, and has launched his own record label, Aeropop, in addition to touring the world many times over. In 2014, Aeroplane will release his first original music in over a year with the single “Let’s Get Slow,” which features a vocal performance by Benjamin Diamond of Stardust “Music Sounds Better With You” fame. To follow will be a steady stream of new original music throughout 2015 including collaborations with Mayer Hawthorne and Kimbra, among others. Aeroplane continues to tour all over the world. Notably, he performed at Coachella 2014 following a successful North American tour, and will touch every continent except for Antarctica this year alone.
