“Every student needs to know and experience the unchanging, deep beauty and value God created within them”…says the up and coming singer/songwriter Allison Eide. From the first song she wrote on the family piano at the age of six to her new, soon to be nationally released EP, In The Moment, Allison has been following a calling in her heart; to pour into young people about their amazing identity and discovering how to live in the truth of how God has made them beautiful. Allison does this with her sweet rich voice as well as she has the ability to communicate with her stories and her confident presence. Allison brings the wisdom of an old soul at only 18 years old. Allison is maybe new to listeners but is not new to singing and leading her audience in a powerful experience. At the age of 10, Allison was leading worship for the women’s Bible study at her church, and continued through age 18. Continuing to write music and perform, this Minnesotan traveled to Nashville at the age of 13 to record her second song, “Don’t Open Those Doors”. That same year she also went on her first tour with her father, Peder Eide, who has been an international singer/songwriter/gospel artist and speaker for 20+ years. Together they traveled and performed nationally bringing families together in congregations in worship for the ALL IN ALL OUT tour back in the Fall of 2013. Right at the finish of the tour, Allison decided to create her own business and became a piano educator. This sparked her passion for teaching and speaking. She first spoke at the age of 13 to an audience of elementary students at a church in Ocala Florida. Allison’s dream was becoming reality. At the age of 18, Allison has performed and spoken nationally at youth retreats, student ministries, churches, festivals, conferences, including touring every Christmas on Peder Eide’s best-selling Christmas Tour. As she continues to teach piano with students competing in state contests, she also leads worship for student ministries and adult ministries at her home church in Minnesota. This summer (2018), the talented musician has created and will be running a Christian camp for young girls to understand their value and beauty within them, grow in leadership and discipleship, and how they can pour that love and truth out into the world. On top of her adoration and passion for music, Allison is also an intense athlete involved in many sports. Her top sport, basketball, has been her love since the age of four. Throughout her high school years, Allison has been awarded many accolades such as three year Conference MVP, four year 1st team all conference and all defensive team, top 10 state rankings in several categories, and leading her team to a four year undefeated record in their conference. Her junior year of high school, Allison also scored her 1000 point. She has been praised for her leadership as captain for 3 years on her team. Today, Allison is beyond thrilled to be officially committed to continue her basketball career at Bethel University this Fall. On the side, Allison is writing her first historical fiction book she is very excited to give the world as she shares a precious and emotionally accurate story from a brutal time in history. This is a unique project that has been on her heart since she was very young. As far as music available, Allison released her first single, “Seventeen” on iTunes May of 2017 along with a music video of her single “Pure Gold” on YouTube July of 2015. She also sang and played piano on Peder Eide’s live record “WITH”, and co-wrote two of the songs which was released March 23, 2018. This coming June of 2018, Allison will be releasing her first debut EP called “In the Moment” with her title track single to be released in May.
